Futuremark And AVADirect Partner Up

March 4th, 2011 - Futuremark has released the newest addition to the world-acclaimed benchmarking software that enthusiasts crave for proof behind the bragging rights, 3DMark 11. An up-to-date release of 3DMark ensures that gaming systems can be tested without variables in the software, helping end-users to determine how the system will handle current games on the market. The most exciting aspect of 3DMark 11 is the DirectX 11 support. Variables, such as tessellation; which determines how colors, shapes, and shades overlap one another to create a realistic 3D image, compute shaders that test how quickly a graphics processing unit can process and render different shades within a changing environment, and multi-threading which will stress and take advantage of multiple processors to show the performance benefit.
