BFG technologies’ new geForce 7800 gTX 512MB overclocked graphics card surpasses the billion mark

Overclocked 512MB Graphics Card Processes Over One Billion Vertices per Second to Provide Unprecedented Power and Performance
Lake Forest, IL – ( November 14, 2005 )– BFG Technologies®, Inc., the leading U.S.-based supplier of advanced 3D graphics cards and other PC enthusiast products, announced today that their new BFG GeForce™ 7800 GTX OC™ 512MB PCI Express™ graphics cards are immediately available through leading online retailers.

"Our award-winning 256MB GeForce 7800 GTX OC has unbelievably fast performance – processing 980 million vertices per second," said Scott Herkelman, EVP of marketing for BFG Technologies, Inc. “By doubling the on-board memory to 512MB and overclocking the core to 580MHz, we’ve now pushed the vertices per second past the billion mark, at an unprecedented 1.16 billion. The increase in memory and core clock speed gives this new card a boost in performance that separates it from the pack in benchmarks, and more importantly, real-world gameplay.”

In addition to being factory overclocked to 580MHz / 1750MHz (vs. 550MHz / 1700MHz standard), the new BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC 512MB graphics card features dual DVI-I, HDTV and Video In / Video Out (VIVO) connectors to provide the most flexible functionality for demanding consumers.

BFG Tech is including the following free bundle inside every retail box:
• Call of Duty 2 (DVD version)"
• BFG “Up All Nite” t-shirt
• BFG Teflon® Slick Pads, which decrease the friction between mouse and mouse pad
• A copy of GameDrive 9.0, which allows customers to play games without the CD
