COMPUTEX 2011 will open on a grand scale May 31 – June 4. Apacer

◎RSFD (RFID SATA Flash Drive):
As a double-interface SSD, the RSFD (RFID SATA Flash Drive) has two
storage interfaces: SATA and USB. SATA SSD (SFD) can be used as system
drive, and USB SSD (UFD) as data storage drive. This SSD features RFID
(radio-frequency identification) function, freeing users from having to install
additional software. They can power on/off the UFD according to their needs
by using the integrated reader and RFID tags for short-range sensing. As a
result, the safety of stored data is strengthened. With the ability to perform AES
encryption while accessing data, this RSFD can serve as an encryption device
to safeguard personal information more easily.

◎PHFD (PCIe Hybrid Flash Drive):
PHFD (PCIe Hybrid Flash Drive) uses PCIe interface and combines traditional
hard drive with SSD. Users can employ the HyperDuo technology to use the
SSD as a cache drive and accelerates system operation by automatically
storing frequently used softwares and files into the SSD. Compared with
use of traditional hard drive alone, the PHFD not only gives a performance
boost for the system but also provides SSD-specific advantages such as high
performance and reliability. Users may also appreciate its large capacity and
low cost, which used to be the benefits of traditional hard drives only.

Apacer, in addition to the two innovative SSDs above, will also be showcasing
a series of industrial SSDs including devices with SATA, PATA, CompactFlash

enhanced data storage reliability.

※Consumer SSD: SATA 3.0 SSD to catch the eyes of visitors
At the exhibition, Apacer will display a series of SSDs with industry-leading
specifications: Pro II AS203 and Turbo II AS602. Targeting hard-core gamers,
AS610 supports the SATA 6Gb/s interface for high-speed transfer. Boasting
the sequential read speed of up to 550/520 MB/sec, it delivers the lightning-fast

more, Apacer will also announce a 1.8-inch ultra-slim SSD for tablet PCs. Its
features of resistance to shock, low power consumption and high speed makes
it the best upgrade alternative to traditional hard drives for users on the go.

※A display zone for high-speed USB 3.0 devices: external hard drive,
flash drive, hub and card reader for speed-hungry users
Apacer’s USB 3.0 external hard drive is backward-compatible with the USB
2.0 standard. There are two LED indicators representing USB2.0 and USB3.0
data transfer, respectively, so that users can easily know how the hard drive is
reading. The built-in smart power management function, coupled with operation
system configuration, allows the hard drive to automatically enter into power-
saving mode. With high-speed read/write performance, the external hard drive
delivers a data transfer speed three times the USB 2.0 devices, saving a vast
amount of time for users when backing up lots of data and video/audio files.

As for USB3.0 flash drive, Apacer will introduce AH552. AH552 boasts high
speed and storage capacity, and shows outstanding quality with the sleek

and 70MB/s in write, bringing the advantage of USB 3.0 to full display. To take
the lead in the industry, Apacer also plans to unveil AH350 and AH351, with

Apacer’s five-slot USB3.0 card-reader —AM541—supports all major memory
cards including high-speed SDXC, SDHC and UDMA6 CF cards. Its featured
