SAPPHIRE Technology is showcasing its latest graphics and motherboard products at Computex 2011 from 31st May to 3rd June.

The SAPPHIRE HD 6950 Dirt3 Special Edition is a new SAPPHIRE original model with a special cooler using a new Dual Turbo fan configuration. Based on the latest high end AMD GPU architecture, it boasts true DX 11 capability and the powerful configuration of 1408 stream processors and 88 texture processing units. With its clock speed of 800MHz for the core and 2GB of the latest GDDR5 memory running at 1250Mhz (5 Gb/sec effective), this model speeds through even the most demanding applications for a smooth and detail packed experience. A Dual BIOS feature allows enthusiasts to experiment with alternative BIOS settings and performance can be further enhanced with the SAPPHIRE overclocking tool, TriXX, available as a free download from http://www.sapphiretech.com/ssc/TriXX/

The second special edition is the SAPPHIRE HD 6870 FleX Dirt3 Special Edition. Most graphics cards based on AMD technology require the third monitor in an Eyefinity set-up to be a DisplayPort monitor, or connected with an active DisplayPort Adapter. The SAPPHIRE FleX family can support three DVI monitors in Eyefinity mode and deliver a true SLS (Single Large Surface) display area without the need for costly active adapters. The first two monitors are connected to the two DVI ports and the third to an HDMI to DVI cable (supplied) with no extra hardware required.

Building on its reputation for special editions and silent cooled graphics cards, SAPPHIRE Technology has just introduced the SAPPHIRE HD 6670 ULTIMATE, boasting the full performance and features of the fan cooled models, but with a totally silent heatpipe cooler. The SAPPHIRE HD 6670 ULTIMATE has 480 Stream Processors and sports 1GB of the latest DDR5 memory. With clock speeds of 800MHz core and 1000MHz (4GHz effective) for the memory, it delivers the same performance as fan cooled models, but with a totally silent heatpipe cooler, making it one of the fastest and most capable silent-cooled graphics card available today.

At the same time SAPPHIRE introduced the SAPPHIRE HD 6570 ULTIMATE, a single slot low profile card with silent heatpipe cooler. With its 480 stream processors, engine clocks of 650MHz and 1GB of DDR3 memory clocked at 900MHz (1.8GHz effective) this is an ideal solution for HTPCs or general purpose PCs where silent operation is an advantage. SAPPHIRE Mainboards

In the motherboard arena, SAPPHIRE is showcasing its Fusion line of products, with demos of the current SAPPHIRE Pure Mini E350 ITX board and previews of the new Llano generation of Fusion products. The AMD motherboard line is strengthened with the second generation SAPPHIRE Pure CrossFire 890GX ATX mainboard and the forthcoming SAPPHIRE Pure Black 990FX board supporting the latest generation of AMD processors.

Following the successful introduction of the World Record holding SAPPHIRE Pure Black X58 and innovative Pure Black P67 Hydra mainboards for the enthusiast user, SAPPHIRE is now extending its line of mainboards with two new boards which support the latest generation of Intel® Core processors. The SAPPHIRE Pure Platinum H67 is a new mini ITX board which boasts a host of on-board features and includes a X16 PCI-Express slot. LucidLogix Virtu allows dynamic switching between built-in processor graphics and high performance discrete graphics cards.
