Dell OEM Solutions today announced that it has been selected by Booxware, a leading developer of software solutions for sports gaming, to deliver a customized hardware platform and a range of supply chain and support services for its appliances.

Booxware was formed in 2002 by a group of bookmakers and software developers to deliver end-to-end solutions for sports gaming establishments and has quickly established itself as the leading provider in the German market. It now has more than 2,500 customers across Europe, and provides solutions at 750 sites for Tipico, one of the largest gaming companies on the continent. Booxware’software, eBET, provides a comprehensive solution for single- and multi-site deployments, offering full support for multi-channel betting operations from risk monitoring and accounting to cash management.

Prior to partnering with Dell, Booxware built all its hardware in-house, assembling machines from scratch using individually ordered components. This approach became untenable as the business grew and customer demands for greater service levels and hardware reliability increased. Booxware now delivers its software – including mission critical cash management solutions - on the Dell Optiplex XE SF platform with Dell offering four hour on-site support. Working with Dell OEM Solutions, Booxware will streamline product development and delivery through Dell’s supply chain and image management services, which will allow it to move resources away from tactical maintenance and focus on innovation. Dell will provide support to Booxware around hardware customisation, software image design and maintenance, and product shipping and support.
