Monarch Computer Announces the Release of the ATI Radeon® X1900 Series of Video Cards

Atlanta — January 24, 2006— From their headquarters in Tucker, GA, Monarch Computer™ announced today the addition of ATI Radeon® X1900 Series video cards to their award winning lines of PCs. ATI is looking to return to the glory days of the 9700 and 9800 series video cards with this new release. With sixteen pixel pipelines and forty-eight pixel-shader processors, it looks like ATI has a real winner on their hands as gamers can now enjoy higher video quality settings as well as a boost from the clock speed of this card. At launch, Monarch will be offering the X1900XT; the X1900XTX, which sports an even higher clock speed, and a X1900XT CrossFire™ Edition. There’s no doubt that ATI wants the performance crown that has been tossed around for so long.

Systems Seeing Red
Monarch will offer the X1900 Series in many of their systems currently offered online. Everyday computing desktop lines, the Furia™, the Solia™, the Solidus™, and the Versall™, will all benefit from the boost in GPU power ATI’s new line has to offer. Gamers especially will enjoy a boost. Monarch’s Adversary, a gaming system based on AMD™’s 939-pin architecture and ATI-based graphics processing units (GPUs), will see a significant increase in power due to the availability of ATI CrossFire technology. ATI CrossFire will enable a Monarch shopper to increase the performance of their Monarch Adversary gaming system simply by pairing the ATI Radeon X1900 CrossFire edition with a standard X1900 video card.
