The new Intel Viiv-ready 945G-M3 motherboard brings digital entertainment anywhere in the home with affordability thanks to its integrated graphics and 8-channel audio. Taking full advantage of the Intel 945G Express chipsets, the new 945G-M3 motherboard provides outstanding image output with its integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 950. The users can enjoy smooth video playback, bright and clear output of photos, support for high definition TV (HDTV) and digital flat panel without the need for additional add-on cards. Adding to the motherboard's rich integrated features is the built-in 8-channel audio. Designed to bring the highest digital entertainment experience to every home with minimum cost and complexity, the new 945G-M3 motherboard supports 7.1 (8-channel) surround audio to amplify the overall digital home sound quality. Additionally, the micro-ATX form factor of the 945G-M3 motherboard allows the users to build small and compact systems that can be integrated to any home entertainment set-up.



Dual Core Performance, Strong I/O Support

Based on the LGA775 microprocessor architecture, the new 945G-M3 motherboard is optimized for Intel Dual Core Pentium® D processors to bring superb multitasking capability to the digital home. The motherboard's dual-core processor support allows the PC to utilize CPU resources intelligently and efficiently even during intensive applications such as video rendering and playback. Central to a digital home, the ECS 945G-M3 motherboard supports a wide variety of input/output devices to enable ultimate connectivity. A Serial ATA (SATA) 3.0Gb/s interface is provided to offer blazing-fast storage connectivity. Other features include one PCI-Express x16 slot, one PCI-Express x1 slot, one IDE ATA100 slot, eight USB2.0 ports, IEEE 1394a Firewire port and Gigabit Ethernet port. Memory support is enabled in dual channel mode of up to 2GB of DDR2-667 (PC5400) memory.
