Griffin Technology Showcases Its New PSP Accessory Lineup at E3 Expo
NASHVILLE, TN Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Griffin Technology, innovator of the world's most advanced iPod
accessories, will be exhibiting their newest lineup of accessories for PlayStation Portable at the E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles on May 10 - 12, 2006 (West Hall, Booth 2146), including five new products that will make their debut.
Start Game
Griffin's first wave of PlayStation accessories have been accepted with enthusiasm in the PlayStation Portable
market, with outstanding sales and rave reviews:
iTrip PSP
Griffin started by reinventing its iTrip, the most popular iPod accessory in the world, so that PSP users can
send audio content wirelessly to their home or car stereo receivers. The sleek, slim iTrip module snaps securely onto the PSP without adding bulk, or tangling wires. iTrip features an LCD that makes it easy and quick to set up. In less than a minute, users are hearing their games, movies and music through their home and car stereo systems, for the most immersive entertainment experience, ever.
iFM PSP
Griffin first created the iFM Radio Tuner and Remote Control for iPod, and then redesigned it for PSP.
Basically, iFM brings FM radio tuning to PSP, and does it with style and convenience. iFM integrates FM radio tuning and a handy wired remote control in a tiny, unobtrusive enclosure. With iFM, the PSP becomes an FM tuner with advanced features such as digital auto station scan with wraparound and six station presets. A Band-Switch function allows switching between US, European, and Japanese FM bands for tuning anywhere in the world.
SmartShare PSP
With SmartShare, Griffin created a headphone/audio splitter with a difference: separate volume controls for each
listener. Slim volume control sliders are integrated into each of SmartShare's output jacks. Each output can be set to a comfortable volume level, and each listener retains control over the listening experience.
Loading Level 2
Following the success of its initial foray into the gaming market, Griffin announces 5 new ways to accessorize
your PSP, Griffin style.
RoadDock PSP
Sometimes it's just really inconvenient to hold your handheld in your hands. RoadDock is an ultra-versatile
mounting system that allows you to affix your PSP to any vehicle headrest or seat-back for comfortable, hands-free viewing. The adjustable strap mounts the PSP securely; built-in tilt and rotation adjustments afford comfortable viewing angles for passengers of all heights. Keeping the kids entertained in the back seat just got easier, by an order of magnitude.
EarJams PSP
EarJams will quickly become such a necessary ingredient of your portable listening experience, you'll wonder how
you ever enjoyed your jams without EarJams. EarJams easily snap onto your PSP earbuds to deliver a new level of sound and comfort. EarJams' soft interchangeable cushions fit any ears without pressure, chafing or fatigue. EarJams also dramatically improve the sound from your existing PSP earbuds. Because of the unique shape of the EarJams channel, you'll hear massive bass; earbud volume will actually be increased by up to 10 decibels, allowing you to turn down the volume and still hear everything, with less distortion. You won't believe how good your PSP earbuds can sound until you try EarJams. Comes with three sizes of interchangeable cushions, and a handy zippered carrying case.
EarThumps PSP
EarThumps are earbuds that are designed to isolate your listening experience from outside sound by fitting
comfortably inside your ears. EarThumps' design allows them to deliver rich, crystal clear audio, with clean transparent atmospheric highs, and deep bass. You'll experience exceptional noise isolation, greater sound output, and enhanced bass. EarThumps are lightweight (only 0.4 ounces/12 grams) and high tech, with neodymium dynamic micro-drivers. Comes with three different-sized silicone inserts for secure fit and maximum comfort, and a zippered Nylon carrying case.
PowerBlock PSP
What's a versatile entertainment platform without juice? Griffin's PowerBlock PSP lets you power and charge your
PSP from any AC wall outlet. PowerBlock's Type-A, flat-blade plug is designed for compatibility -- perfect for international use and multi-outlet configurations. The compact PowerBlock is ideal for keeping as a handy spare power supply.
PowerJolt PSP
When you're motoring with your PSP, wouldn't it be great if you could recharge even while playing music, movies
or games? You can, with PowerJolt plugged into your 12Volt accessory port (those things we used to call cigarette lighters). PowerJolt's convenient
status LED shows at a glance that your iPod is connected, and changes color to show it's charging. PowerJolt's replaceable fuse protects your PSP, too, so you won't have to worry about overcharging or power surges. Play your favorite game titles and arrive at your destination ...with a fully charged PSP.
