FOXCONN JOINS AS SPONSOR IN NEXT EUSKAL ENCOUNTER LAN EVENT

Madrid, June 26th, 2006 – FOXCONN, the global leader in the design and manufacture of computer, communications and consumer electronic components, announces its collaboration with the Euskal Encounter, a LAN party that will take place in Bilbao from July 22nd to 25th, inside “Bilbao Exhibition Centre” in Baracaldo.

Euskal Encounter is a consolidated LAN party that is in its 14th year. Last year, they broke audience records with 5500 attendants and 3072 installed systems. Thanks to many years of experience, they expect to increase attendance this year one more time.

Due to the big success and tremendous promotion possibilities of this event, Foxconn decided to participate. Foxconn will sponsor the Amateur Gaming Area that will take place inside Euskal Encounter. Famous games competitions featuring Warcraft 3, Counter-Strike, NFS, Quake 4 and Pro Evolution Soccer will be held in this zone.

KODE5 will celebrate its tournament in Spain for Counter-Strike, Warcraft 3 and Quake 4 games. This global competition has events in over 20 countries. Winners of each regional qualifier will travel to China to compete in Global Finals dated in September.
