Fremont, CA, July 21, 2004: Corsair Memory, Inc, a global leader in ultra-performance DDR memory modules for PC gamers and enthusiasts, today announced that they will partner with ABIT Computer, a leading manufacturer of high performance motherboards and video cards, for the Cyberathlete® Extreme World Championships at the new Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, July 28 through August 1, 2004.
In particular, the ABIT-Corsair booth C3-C4 will feature the latest of the fabled MAX series motherboards, the Intel 925x based ABIT AA8-3rd eye, featuring the GuruClock™, and the next-generation 667Mhz Corsair DDR 2 XMS2 Pro Series memory; the entire system will be overclocked to an insane 250Mhz FSB. There will also be live demos of other high performance Corsair memory and ABIT gaming motherboards, including the must have AA8-DuraMax, AG8-3rd eye and AV8-3rd eye.
In addition to the live demos and product displays, Corsair and ABIT together will run an Overclocking Clinic for gamers interested in maximizing the performance of their rigs. The Overclocking Clinic will be held in the Corsair-ABIT joint booth at intervals throughout the event. There will be lots of cool prizes including the latest motherboards and memory, true gaming mouse pads and T-shirts.

ABIT partners with Corsair for the CPL
As CPL is getting closer, ABIT has announced their participation in this great gaming championship! This time ABIT will partner with Corsair and run an Overclocking Clinic and some cool gaming events at our booth. According to CPL, more than 5,000 people from 55 countries are currently registered to participate in the event. Over 1,500 competitors are registered to participate in one of five official tournaments, offering a total pursue of $275,000 cash. 2,000 spectators and 1,000 BYOC-only attendees are also currently registered.
