Yes LR has one coming and I believe that Wickedld9 is going to put it up against his Storm block.

I was wondering when the Diamond Pin Matrix was going to get denser with improved flow and better heat transfer. It was only a matter of time as machining percision and product volume levels could be reached.

the only problem I see is how much smaller can they do on those pins, and how prone will they become to clogging

We already have the Storm and the Apogee GT that this press release is about is on the way.... The tracking number shows it will be here Friday (damn ground shipping) More blocks might be included and we have asked a couple other companies to send their blocks out for a small round-up. One company has already declined since it would have been pitted against the Apogee GT...

Heck, the normal APOGEE beats the Storm (rev 1 or 2) on multi core CPU's, the GT just does a bit better of a job. And there's also a new block from D-Tek that can beat the GT as was seen at CES this year in Swiftech's own run competion................;)

There was a lot of problems with that test. Nikhsub has results that contradict that, and his testing methods were better. Once this block gets into circulation will see what the actual truth is.

There's a ton of disagreement on different test methods out there, as for me, I go with what works best on my system with temps taken with core temp. But everyone has their own opinions on what works best......;)

Well, I can't say as I wasn't there and I really don't feel like reading through the several different threads regarding the subject on the few different forums...........;) Besides, I'm also expecting the GT block as well, just need to finish the Swifty review I'm working on now first, one product at a time from Swiftech.........

I like the GT block, as good or better performance than the storm at a good price. I'd like to see its performance on something other than a quad core, hint hint nate.

The review should be run on the most common CPU's out there if possible, dual cores, at least that's what I'll be running the GT on and compared to a Storm and APOGEE, maybe others if I have time.

Nate, if you want to add a standard APOGEE to the mix, come on out, I have a extra one sitting around doing nothing at the moment...........;)

Thanks for the heads up... I'll see what we end up doing and I might take you up on that offer.

I got the Apogee GT in the other day and before I handed it over to Brian I took it apart and got these pics of it for the forums... I think the came out great and wanted to share.
