February= Heckuva month!

Post by Bwall »

Well with the latest update at 6pm we've surpassed the total for the month of Jan in only 27 days. Way to go gang and keep up the great work!!!!

With Apop pitching in with Skulltrail and more folders coming online and existing folders adding more machines it looks like March could be a monster month for us!

Darkstar..I don't know how, but I'm determined to catch back up to your 24hr average. Way to go man, you give us something to chase after even if it is futile. :axe:

I got 4 CPU's, 16 Cores, 16GB of memory and 1000W of power drawing folding power going...

Today I turned in 7,040 points off 4 cores and I just sent in 2 more SMP work units... Almost broke 10,000 points today - will be 9920... If skulltrail wouldn't have locked up for half the day I would have turned in 8 WU's today and not 6...

What sucks is my house heater wont kick on because the hallway by the test lab is 80+ degrees and the rest of the house is 63 degrees... Going to have to shut one down, so I guess I'll keep the V8 running 24/7 even though it is the loudest cause of the stock heat sinks.

yeah we are set to make a record day today...with two turn ins to go we have 45k points today.

Apop, why don't you just move one machine into another part of the house and run vnc to it?

I got him running the folding cd on them...no VNC, but moving skully to another part of the house, or say.....my apartment would help him out. :drinkers:

one of my little children have fallen down. Had a couple of machines I got from a client that bought new ones. I had them both folding for a few days, and one went belly up. Not sure it was ready for the demands of 100% CPU after seeing nothing more than email and IE all it's life. Hoping to get some time on Sunday afternoon to tinker with it and see if I can revive it, but if not, it was only good for about 60-65ppd anyway.

wickedld9 sent me an old mobo he had laying around to attempt to resurrect my old daily driver and it's whole 100ppd or so. He said it was his first mobo, so I'm hoping it's all I need to get my machine running and at least getting it folding a little.

Well at least I outfolded the 2 dual quad monsters today 10560 points FTW!! .....tomorrow and the weekend I'm sure will be a different story. I need to order some memory as I have a folder down now since Mad_Goku took back the kit last week I was borrowing from him.... but he got his third machine up with it!!!

it's still early but looks like Darkstar is having a low day.

hope you get the old beast folding again Iceman !!! maybe us folder can pool some money together and pick it up an X1950 AGP card that would put it up to 660-990 ppd

I'm getting crushed! All of the new users are crushing me in the rankings this week around the mid 60 user list marker.

It seems that the crowd is just climbing on one another until a few break loose around here.

OK, so it's for a good cause. :P

I'm coming for you stev! 6 and a half months! OK so once I'm done moving into the new house and get my sig rig up and running F@H, things will happen a lot faster for me. Keep on keeping on though :)

Nate's give-a-way added a little boost to the team's folding too. If things keep up, the team's rankings would near the 100 position.

LOL

It seems that PCrobot is my next challenge to over take on the team listing. Skierkid450 isn't too far behind me either.
