Is it possible to get both cores and GPU folding?
Is it possible to get both cores and GPU folding?
The above sums it up. My office computer has a 6300 and it has a Radeon X1300Pro in it. I would like to get both cores and the GPU running flat out folding in the evenings and weekends.

Nope GPU needs one core two shuttle it work, run the SMP Only it gets more points

The card isn't exactly powerful enough to run folding effectively anyway. So you'd be better off sticking to CPU based clients.

well what if you had a quad and you told the smp client to only use 3 cores would that work?

Yup, as long as you one core to feed the GPU, you can do whatever you want with the others
