Is it possible to get both cores and GPU folding?

Post by DX »

The above sums it up. My office computer has a 6300 and it has a Radeon X1300Pro in it. I would like to get both cores and the GPU running flat out folding in the evenings and weekends.

The card isn't exactly powerful enough to run folding effectively anyway. So you'd be better off sticking to CPU based clients.

Yup, as long as you one core to feed the GPU, you can do whatever you want with the others
