No idea. My ATI machine is still running 11. Haven't checked the NVIDIA box yet.

I got 13 at least on this machine about 35 minutes ago.

bye bye average. New core is a killer on PPD. my dual card machine is running 1 core 11, 1 core 13. 5409 ppd vs 3363 ppd.

Weird, I JUST clicked on this thread and then went to check my GPU client and BAM it updated to the new core. Guess I'll find out what this new core will do for me in a day or so.

I just finished one work unit with the new core 13 exe. The new WU that has just started is using core 11exe. So, I guess the GPU2 client will use either core 11 or core 13 depending on the WU.
I do notice that core 13 is slower on my rig. I wonder if core 13 will give more points than core 11?

the unit I had for core 13 was 511pts, vs 480pts for the core 11 units.

DaIceMan, did you happen to look in the windows task manager to see if core 13 was using all cores or if it stays set like core 11 does, just using one core. If it starts using all four cores maybe that is why core 13 is running slower than core 11. Next time I look at the GPU2 client and it is working with core 13 I will look as well. Hope we can figure this out soon so we don't lose time or points in the process. Fold on!

The WU's that core 13 uses have a larger number of atoms, so they will be slower on Nvidia hardware. ATI cards are less susceptible to the point drop (I think they actually go up on these WU's). Nothing you can do here, unless you want to switch to some ATI 4850/4870's.

No thanks, I'll stick with my gtx280  Next year maybe I'll get a gtx280X2

Thanks for the quick replys and info. Just noticed that our last update I received 868 points for 2 WU. I usually get 960 points for 2 WU. Looks like the core 13 gives me less points and goes slower as well.
