No lies boys we're killin the folding game
Every now and then I just glance at my rank to see where I sit on the team(at spot #45 now) and I'm pleased to say that every time I've checked we've happened to be a spot closer on the world rank! Great job guys!

Congrats Team on our final resting spot for 2008, #86!!
Next up: MozillaZine. 1 month away. Let's see if we can start 2009 off with a sprint and bring that down to a couple weeks.

Looks like the servers are down. I hope they are not down for long. I have 2 SMP clients that can't get sent and now the GPU can't send results. Anyone else having problems?
Re: Team 38296 Official Progress Thread
At least Pande Group is cracking down on Team FTL, but I don't think they'll disappear. That team is here to stay =(

Re: Team 38296 Official Progress Thread
cracking down? They have in excess of 7000 active member, 543 of which are new. Was there a post about them somewhere?
Re: Team 38296 Official Progress Thread
Someone on here had a friend come to them about the FTL group quite a while ago now (there was a post somewhere) and it was within the month of the team starting up.DaIceMan wrote:cracking down? They have in excess of 7000 active member, 543 of which are new. Was there a post about them somewhere?
They had a torrent downloaded and in the torrent files was a F@H client, and the readme that came with the torrent told people to install it and to put the FTL team settings. I think it called the F@H client a dual core optimiser or something. Whoever put the files in the torrent has since amended the readme wording so that it now says what F@H is, but while it was still rather dodgy a couple of people here took it to the official F@H boards and said how it wasn't right that they were doing this. The thread on F@H forums got deleted after not too long (for no reason that was apparent, it was assumed that they were dealing with it) and team FTL has stayed around.
On one hand it serves the people right that are torrenting and don't know what they are doing, and it's overall good for the project, but it's just kind of 'off' how they got all their recruits.

If Stanford can't prove it, then they don't do anything. Probably the case. We have more things to worry about, like why is our production dropping
