FahMon is Yellow

Post by geokilla »

Umm, lately I noticed that my FahMon is yellow. If I remember correctly, FahMon is only yellow when you power up the rig and it has completed only say 5% from the last checkpoint, and when there's something wrong with the Folding.

Also, can someone check if there's anything wrong with the following log, specifically when you shut the computer down.

Code: Select all

[00:24:26] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[00:33:04] Writing local files
[00:33:04] Completed 1950000 out of 5000000 steps (39 percent)
[00:48:04] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[00:56:44] Writing local files
[00:56:44] Completed 2000000 out of 5000000 steps (40 percent)

somewhere in the settings you can set it to calculate from the last step only. That would sometimes fix the problem for me. Eventually, i couldn't use FahMon because of the crashes. FahSpy works great for me if you have to abandon Mon.

I changed it and it's still no go. My sister's AMD X2 rig has a green status, while my own GPU and CPU (SMP) folding has a yellow status.

And it's still yellow....Guess I'll have to give FahSpy a try. Is it better than FahMon?
