FYI--I think the fancy pants sheet is wrong. it doesnt match the new teams that were posted on this thread.

Which are we going off of? The teams posted in the first page or the teams on the stat tracker?

Dan (the creator of the fancy stats) and I (the organizer of the event) are working together to get some fair teams. I've spent hours trying to get the teams fair and was unable to do it. Dan is tweaking the teams to get them even here at the start, so it looks like he came up with some pretty fair numbers. We still have a couple people not folding that said they would, so we might still need to make some changes. Waiting on a few people to get running. Sorry for all this, but we'll get it shorted out soon enough.

After much headscratching I've managed to get my SMP client up in a Ubuntu 9.10 x64 VM. Not sure what it'll add on in terms of daily PPD, but I'll be sure to report back with #s soon. Now to get a second SMP client up!

So you're running VMware with Ubuntu 9.10? I've read that the PPD for them are not as good as the 8.04 versions.

Have you checked out the Notfred client? There's a guide here that I made. It's not stickied, but it was made yesterday so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

how do i know if my points are being recorded, i started the firstday, and my points are goig so slow =( i'm at 585 /1500 as we speak now. I checked the folding @ home stats and it says :

eden999 Last updated: Wed Dec 2 20:00:03 PST 2009
Thu Dec 3 04:00:03 UTC 2009

Date of last work unit None
Total score 0
Overall rank (if points are combined) 1319842 of 1319842
Active clients (within 50 days) 0
Active clients (within 7 days) 0

But i'v been folding fo the past few days, is it only recorded once, it completes? ie. reaches 1500/1500? or did i do something wrong and it's not recording.

btw. i'm a folding noob :o

OK, I think the teams are as fair as they're going to get. But as we still have a couple of people that haven't returned any points, and a couple that haven't stabilised at their average ppd so I'm going to give them till the end of today and have one final re-shuffle of the teams tomorrow.

Then the teams will be locked in. :axe:

every day, but you are not showing any points on the stats sheet, do you have your folding name team number correct? and what are you folding on? if you have been folding for 2 days and you are not quite halfway then it looks like you will get 15oo points at about 4-5 days.
