Uploading errors

Post by Illuminati »

The last few days I have been getting errors like this one where the client is not uploading the folding results to the servers after the work unit has completed.

Has anyone else seen this lately?

Is the client still able to download the next work unit?

I think I've had error's like this in the past, but it sorted itself out a few days later.

Yes, the client is getting the next work unit and is folding the next work unit as it is giving this error.

a couple of servers down this is affecting most teams. I am active over at OCforums and the Abit forums and both are reporting the same thing. I'll Check the F@H forums once I get back from class to see whats up. I've got over 600pts waiting to be uploaded here

basically it says that yes servers were down they were repairing them. Having WUs queued will not cause you to loose points, unless its a very very very rare circumstance, which VJ does not elaborate on. Everything should be fine by tomorrow they hope

update for the F@H forums

http://forum.folding-community.org/view ... highlight=
Hi everyone,

Sorry for the inconvenience with server .138. I regret to inform everyone that it wil be down for a few more days. As Vijay said the surgery was a success but I'd like to add I need some time to "stitch the server back up and let it heal". Specifically, I have to move a large amount of data around while I am finishing maintenance on the RAID. It will probably be down for a few more days while I fix things and put everything back where it belongs. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully soon you will all have more wonderful P761 Wus that I know you love so much Wink .
