I'm in :) I just worried that DMB2000uk is going on vacation soon. Without his points were coming in 2nd.

I wonder how many of us are going to go out and buy new graphic cards this weekend?

I say we run it for a week. with it being summer and people taking vacations and such, any more than 1 week seems too long to me.

I agree with DaIceMan best total in a 1 week period.
A 1 week lead in time so everyone can add to or tweak their systems would be a good idea IMHO!

Question(s)....
1. Where will the stats be taken from? Extremeoverclocking.com Folding stats?

2. Is there anything that would be considered unfair?
I know a couple people have access to multiple computers at their place of work and to load them up for a day or more could sway the point total considerably!

3. Zertz, why do you have to back out of this?

I vote 3 weeks total. Even on vacation you can let computers run, especially with battery backups on them ;)

What do you mean by "most distinguished folder"?

BTW - AWESOME prize too!!!!!!! I have wanted an HDTV tuner ever since i lost my other Hauppauge card somewhere (maybe wife threw it out since i still have the remote, box, etc..lol)

Mike

I dunno if everyone turns in a unit a week..??

Now how many more systems do I have to get to push us past that bad #2 team

I'll join - voted for 250K points as this keep the contest going longer. With GPU folding 250K won't take long

I'll add a 8800GTS 640MB & C2D @ 3.6GHz
Vista 64 bit

I'll fold for ~8hrs a day

:EDIT:
Keep me out of the contest, I'll just join in

It's not me wanting to turn them off, but my folding machines are in school (where I work), so when the kids are out for the summer (and so am I), I have no choice but to turn them off.

yeah, I said a week because if people have machines go offline during the day (while at work/school) and they lose some hours of folding, they will have time to make up for it. Longer than a week and people leave for vacation, if the machine goes offline, then they are basically out of luck with no way to reset them.

I'll be here, so longer is fine with me... I was just thinking of others that didn't have vacation already.
