I think you've been in his office before... he has 5 systems in that little room on all the time... he already had to move a drop-ceiling tile to allow the heat to escape out of the room. and that was with all the computers pretty much at idle...

Take in to account that its a P4 and a variable speed fan... it got hot and noisy very quickly. I didn't really blame him... I could tell the difference in room temp... prolly about a 6-8 degree F difference.
take off the stock fan and stick a zalman fan on there or something. it will be quieter, faster, and cool better.

you'd better do it, i'm catching up to you. :)

How do you get admin rights to those computers to download the program? If I knew how to put this on the lab computers, I would....

You could hack into them pretty easy............. But if you get caught (and most do sometime) you'll be out of school and end up in jail........... It's just better to ask the system Admin if it's ok........ 8)

I asked one of the IT guys and he gave me the BIOS and Windows admin passwords. All are the same for every PC... So pretty simple really.

Goes to show that asking never hurts. You also might want to bring it up to the schools admin. Might make some good PR for the school............
