I am not a happy camper tonight!!! :vom:

NOOOO!!!!

Hopefully you can get her up and running again, QUICK!

i have off friday so i will spend my morning getting my data off my hard drive before i wipe her and start fresh. I added a couple computers to fold yesterday to help take the sting out of losing the 8800 gts for a couple days..

i emailed the GPU client to all my friends in my BF2142 clan.. hopefully i can get 5 or more 8800's folding soon. that should more than make up for my down time... man this folding really gets addicting
cheers :drinkers:

smack for president!!!! lol

That's awesome, keep em coming. My mobo and 8800gt is "out for delivery" right now so hopefully I can get it all together tonight!!!! I'm contemplating swapping things around a little bit though. I might throw the 8800GT in my opteron 165 machine, use the e6600 and 8800gts as my main machine, and run my e8400 with my 3450 as my smp folder. I think that's the best way to maximize my points.

You should get the OS to where you like it and create a backup clone image of the drive, so that you will have a good point to go back to when all else is screwed.

Thought I best let everyone know that I am going to be out of town for the weekend, so my stats updates will be patchy to non-existent.

So you'll have to hope that bwall updates his stats. or do some updates for yourself.

argh...i'm never getting this second machine back up and running...at first I thought all I would need is a new motherboard to get it working....well I got a new motherboard and the next thing I know it won't boot because of a memory error. So I take one stick out and it starts working, I get windows installed and everything else, then all of the sudden I get HD S.M.A.R.T. failure on boot. So now my hard drive is going out. It keeps freezing in windows so I ran memtest on the other stick of ram. It fails on the first pass. So I scavenge a 2gb stick out of my main rig, it starts running great....I'm thinking it's going to start working. About 10 min later it freezes again. I think the hard drive is the problem...unfortunately I don't have a spare drive around. I don't need much just something small (and SATA). I also need to order some memory....I'm building a whole new damn system!!!!

Got to work today and two of the guys from work went to see it last night. DAMMIT! I WANT TO SEE THE MOVIE!

^^yep, crazy. Actually, i saw the quote in his Sig and replied.

As for the war, does anyone know how yesterday went on "As the Protein Folds"? (for those non-TV watchers, this is a lame reference/pun to the soap opera As the World Turns... I'm tired, gimme a break)

Stats updated to the 9am EOC time.

Adding in all of team 2's stats was tense as I didn't know if they were going to overtake us till i had done it all.

Dan, dicecca...

Zagi and DeadlyPope are 2 new members that have started Folding. they downloaded the wrong client and should be coming online soon with the new client. They are members of my gaming group and should be counted as members of Team 1 for the duration of the Folding War. Thanks.
