My system has been brought to its knees with a GROMACS called p218_c24Murea! It's only 100 frames and 186 points, but I've been working on it for 3 days now!
GRRRRR
Anyone else stuck on one of these monsters?

You can go to this webpage:
http://vspx27.stanford.edu/psummary.html
And it shows most of the available work units, the scores, and unit deadlines.

haha. well i am about 154/400 on p1125_p678_L939_K12M_355K which is running 100% on my hyperthreading processor. i couldn't believe when i looked up the points... 241 each!! so that will be almost 500 points when these finish, probably in the next 24 hours. it's been running for about 20 hours so far, so my mediocre system is doing pretty well against your awesome extreme edition.

the problem is that i've had to restart it liike 5 times already. the file keeps getting corrupted when i change my motherboard settings. f@h likes to be turned on and left alone. but it's hard when i have a new computer i'm trying to optimize.
i have my new laptop running as well on the p854_p53dimer854 gromacs core which is worth 154 points, but it's not as fast and the program says it should be done around november21. wonderful.
so i don't have the awesome computing power i did last week, but at least i'm still helping out.

my poor computer is going to meltdown. none of the temps are high but i'm working this poor thing at 3.6ghz 24/7. after these 2 WUs complete i'm going to shut it down for a while.
i have the microcool heatsinks on all the MOSFETs and PLL and south bridge chip, and they work really well. the heat spreaders on my hyper X memory are getting pretty hot though. this is a great torture test for my new computer.

i have to say man 3.6ghz is not to shabby. Your going to keep putting some good numbers with that system.
