Fold one for my Dad

Guys,
I received news yesterday that my dad has cancer (kidney).
I've never asked for anything from the LR community in over two years, but now I have one request.
All I ask is for everyone to fold one WU for cancer. It would be nice if you add your team as 38296, but to be honest it doesn't matter.
Just do it for the science.
It won't take long and you won't notice it on your electricity bill. You don't have to run your pc 24/7 and you don't need an always on connection. (I used to fold when I had dialup)
You can download the client here
http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html
Many Thanks,
Ken

Ken,
Really sorry to hear about your dad, i'll put up another system this week to fold for Cancer. Maybe you can get this moved to general and community also to reach a larger audience? (people that dont already fold)
take care,
Dave

Ken, may your father get well soon.
I fold for Legit Reviews btw. It's a good thing to do if your comp is just sitting there doing nothing while you're doing homework.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!!!
update:
He should be getting his kidney removed sometime this week, and hopefully everything will be ok
@ Darkstar, I didn't/don't want to post/move this in the general forum as I know this subject isn't the nicest thing to read about. I knew the core of LR would do the right thing (or are already doing so)
The main thing is, he is going to be ok... well we are 99% sure. The scans show the cancer (it's such an ugly thing, it doesn't even deserve a mention btw) is within the kidney and there's no sign of it spreading, thank God. (It's strange, I lost faith in God till now.....well kinda......it's funny how we find him when we need him......this was also part of the reason why I lost faith, and am unsure now, but that's another topic, which we shouldn't go into......"sex, politics & religion" -> topics which are dangerous

)
Anyhow, all is well....It's just another hurdle in life, and what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger

Ken, I hope your dad is doing fine right now, cus I have some bad news. My mother told me that my grandpa (mom's side) has I think fad cancer or something similar. He's gonna do surgery but it's gonna be risky because he has high blood pressure and like a bad heart I think. The good thing is that my grandparents don't know about this. Hong Kong doctors don't let old people know that they have cancer I think because they don't want to make their patients feel bad and sad and everything, since it can have an impact on their health and recovery. Hopefully, everything will be fine and my grandpa will get through this.
Keep on Folding everyone. Folding DOES help. I hope.

We finally got word from the hospital. He will be going in next week for a few days for some tests and then hopefully he will be admitted.
He will be in for ~8 days while they remove the kidney. Since he is very weak (has other serious health issues) and he's getting old, they want to keep him in for a while to be on the safe side.
They said he might require some minor dialysis for a day or two, just to help the remaining kidney cope with the stress.
My mam has just retired from her job last week as she wants to be there for him. She seems a bit down as she now has nothing to do during the daytime.
I'm going to bring her out for some dinner today, just to cheer her up and let her celebrate her retirement. I'm worried about here the most. She can't sleep at night, she's afraid of being a widow this christmas
Thanks for all the kind words! I appreciate it, and I'll keep you posted over the coming weeks.

Good luck with everything. My father in law died a year ago from cancer (multiple myeloma) and my mother in law was diagnosed a month ago with breast cancer. She's already had surgery and everything is supposed to be gone, but she has to have radiation therapy for the next six weeks. So we can easily understand what you are going through. We'll keep you in our thoughts.

My best wishes to your family Ken. I lost my mother and oldest brother to cancer. I myself had cancer about 5 years ago, but now have a clean bill of health.
They have made a lot of strides in treatment since it hit my family tree, so keep your chin up.

Great to hear about that Ken. It won't be long now before he's chasing after you, trying to get you off the computer.
My grandfather is also recovering well in HK. According to my mom, everything is going smoothly and he's on medication and on the road to recovery.

Update.
They have now found some (non-cancerous) cysts on his other kidney.
Depending on the test results, I may still have to donate one of my kidneys to him.
So no beer or whiskey for me for a while

Ken, best wishes to you and your family. As we just learned ourselves, dealing with Dementia and spinal stroke, parents are a lot stronger than we give them credit for.
Thoughts and prayers to you all
