I just heard about a program called xneat
http://www.xneat.com/windows_manager/ which is a window manager that allows you to send any program to the taskbar and was wondering if anyone has used it. Specifically i was wondering if it works with the SMP folding window ?

I had never heard of it till I read your post earlier this morning, so naturally, I downloaded it right away. It's great, does what iconize does and a good bit more. I like being able to rearrange the taskbar and lock a window on top of others more than the other features but it also lets you minimize a window to the system tray, make a window transparent, click through a window (on something underneath it)...thanks for the find!

No... it doesn't work with SMP folding. Would be nice, but I'm guessing since it's a dos window, it doesn't work.

I tried Iconize and it works great so far, haven't tried Xneat, but won't need to now.
