He's just trying to catch back up to me. Gonna take him a little while, but he should pass me soon enough.

hadn't looked at my ranking in a while, all you guys and your fancy smancy quads shoved me way down the list.... at one time I was 13th, now 20th.

wonder if I can get a couple more machines here at work up and running...

we'd need to double our PPD in order to do that. a month from now we will still be at 116

I don't know about doubling... but I'm piecing together every machine that is capable and setting it to fold. Wonder what a celeron 500 with 98se will do? ;)

Yep it's folding along but most of the production is from the 4 other systems pounding out the work units.
Welcome to the newest LR folder- Grendel
I'm building a friend at work a new system and he is excited to join our ranks, I'm not sure if he'll join the forum but is looking forward to helping the cause... look for him to show up on the top 20 producers soon.
For anyone curious about his proc it's an E2140 overclocked.
An E2140 at 3.2GHz (with minimal voltage on the stock cooler) turns in an SMP in about 27 hours which is about 1500ppd. I've got it running TWO single core clients and it's ripping through core 7_b like mad, good for about 2100ppd. For $75 and paired up to a $60 IP35-E with inexpensive DDR 800 it's a nice little folder. In a week or so it will be going to its permanent home and will be folding just ONE single core as a service. Right now however one core is reporting under my name and the other under his.
