The past month I've only been folding on two systems, but finally got the LAN rig back up and running... Now I'm back to 3 Folding PC's and look what my second WU back is!

WOW!! :supz:

I finally got one of the BIG Work Units to fold! I am currently working on p1141_RIBO_FSpeptide_HEL_nospring. This monster looks really cool also. I'm folding it on a 3.46GHz (1066FSB) Intel Extereme Edition thank god! Still going to take a tad over 2 days to complete.

sadly i just realized that my OC was alittle unstable and F@H has been erroring out, so i'm now bumping my system up to 1.9v. I hope this stabilizes it so i can keep it folding at 2375mhz.

Damn I just got another 600 pointer! :drinkers:

This time i got p1134_RIBO_FSpeptide_EXT and to be honest it looks cooler than the previous one. I'm going to snag some screen shots later on tonight.

just a question: how do you get a 600point WU?

Dead topic dude! :axe:

Erm, I guess you have to be lucky to get a 600 pointer work unit. Keep folding long enough and your bound to pick one up. (Hint: Allow the large work units to be sent to you (In the options somewhere))

I've done one of these and they do take alot of solid computing to complete! Mine was like nearly 3 days!

Yeah, I think it's prettymuch random as to what your F@H client downloads. Some are big, some are small, just luck of the draw I guess.

But Nate, I'm a little confused. How is that a 600 point WU? It says 250 in the screenshot? :?

The 250 you see is only how many Frames it has, not the Points!

You can check current WU's HERE.....

You can see there are very few WU's in the 600pt range........

I've found running only 1 instance with my X2 gets more PPD that 2x instances running!!!!!!

Ok, that makes sense. So how do you find out how many points a WU is worth?
