infinitevalence breaks 100,000 points!

Post by Apoptosis »

A huge congrats to Infinitevalence for being the first person on our folding team to break 100,000 points. :drinkers: It took Yves 612 work units to break the magical 100,000 mark, but he did it! \:D/

When you do the math [100181/612=163.69] it looks like infinitevalence averaged 164 points a work unit!

Keep up the good work! The team is currently ranked #289 and we are coming up on XtReMoDs.com (ranked #279) and Hardware Analysis (ranked #277)! We should pass both of them up within the next couple weeks!

Thanks for the congrats, 100k was a big goal for me, my next one is 1m. I am hoping to add as many 6 more computers to my folding set up, this would bring my cluster at home up to 10 computers. If any one wants to support my effort i am looking for p3 800mhz and up, athlon 800mhz and up, mobos and cpus. Any donations will be put in a good home (ie 4u rackmount case) and fold 24/7 with minimal down time for our team, 38296.

Yves, Please post a thread on how to run F@H on a cluster... I'm interested, and there's a professor at Truman that would be interested. I tried briefly while I was at Truman using ClusterKnoppix, but was unsuccessful... Thanks!

Oh, and congrats!

well its not a true cluster its going to be a diskless thin net where each terminal is nothing but a mobo/cpu/mem, that way i can reduce the power needs of each system and can have more :)

still sounds like a cluster to me... ;) ClusterKnoppix nodes can be diskless too... they boot from the main node if they have a PXE-enabled network card.

Setup 4th Folding PC.

Just a mere 400 points behind Jennifer, with three PC's expecting to complete some major work units in the next day or two. I should overtake Jennifer and finally make it into the top ten..

Caught and overtaken Jennifer, into the top ten, and rapidly catching up on Eric (who's packed it in anyway). I should get the number 9 position sometime this week, and then its "Pretty Lady". But according to current stats, its going to be sometime in May before I overtake her, not unless I add some serious processing power to my list. Maybe I could persuade my son to donate his Athlon 3000XP to a worthy cause.....
