SMP Folding

I have started to fold with this client but its just sitting on the "Completed 0 out of 500000 steps" normally on the other client it was doing one every 20 mins (atleast). Can some one fill me in with this?

What are your machine specs? Below is a cut from the Project 2653 SMP unit im working on with Behemoth (in my sig).

Yea im using almost nothing like that, my main "S**TBox" is running a Pentium D 805 2gb DDR2 XFX XXX 8600GTS. and now after about 45 minutes it has done 15000 How long should this sort of thing take?

this sorta thing takes awhile, for me running the machine in my sig it takes bout a day to complete a WU

Well ive got this machine running the SMP client a pentium 4 northwood at 2.9Ghz running the standard client my brothers laptop at times and my dads pc which is similar to mine but is only running the standard client because if he saw a little CMD box i think it would worry him. anyway jsut saying is my machine before did 3 WU on the normal client in like 2.5 days or somthing

Is the 805D at stock?
It's a bit underpowered to run the SMP client if it is. You'd be better off doing 2 of the console clients.

Define two of the console clients, it is stock atm just because of this shitty board,

Run 2 separate instances of the text based console client.
Change the machine ID to be different on each FAH settings, and keep them in separate folders so their work doesn't get muddled up.
(Easiest way to change settings, is create a shortcut to the FAH program, and change the path on the shortcut properties to include -config on the end.)

Change the advanced settings on the first run so that the machine ID's are different for each console.
