Problems With SkullTrail...

I'm shutting off the SkullTrail folding rig after the next set of work units get turned in... Diskless Folding isn't working right with the NIC and on top of that the system keeps locking up on me. I'm having to restart it everytime I walk by it. On another note my V8 folding system keeps having USB errors, so that one was locked up over night... I've been pumping out 12,000 points a day of these two rigs working just half the time, but I've lost 12 WU's the past two days and it's doing more harm than good. I'm going to put PS2 components on the V8 rig and keep it folding though. Back down to 6-7k a day for me.

V8 was the 'father' to skulltrail. They are both using server boards with the LGA771 socket. Skulltrail is Penryn based, while V8 is core 2 quad (conroe) based.

Skulltrail:
Dual Quad-Core Intel QX9775 Processors (3.2GHz/1600MHzFSB)
Intel Workstation Board D5400XS
4GB of Total Memory (2 x 2GB Samsung 800Mhz ECC FB-DIMM)
1KW PC Power and Cooling PSU
ATI Radeon HD 3450 GPU
V8:
Dual Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processors X5365 (3GHz/1333MHzFSB)
Intel Workstation Board S5000XVN
12GB of Total Memory:
4 x 2GB Kingston 667Mhz ECC FB-DIMM Memory Modules
4 x 1GB Kingston 667Mhz ECC FB-DIMM Memory Modules
1KW PC Power and Cooling PSU
ATI Radeon HD 3450 GPU

They are both based on server/workstation chipsets, that's why they use ECC FB-DIMMS and Xeon processors. Skulltrail added a SLI bridge and uses rebadged 45 nm Xeon!
