The desktop WU's keep failing on download, my GPU client seems fine. I'm going to reinstall the desktop client tonight.

I've tried to instal the SMP client but its being a little tricky. If anybody has some pointers for installing Vista Ultimate 64 I'd really like to get my 9450 going full steam.

I'll post the errors I get later tonight.

So far so good on the SMP client, I think I figured it out..

Uninstall if you already tried
Sign into an account with Admin rights (account must have a windows password)
Turn off UAC (user account control)
(reboot)
Right click on the instalation exe
Run in XP SP2 compatablity mode
Run instalation exe
Run install.bat
type in User name and password for windows
...Run FAH.EXE... enter your info as usual

Don't forget to turn UAC back on at some time

I'm not sure if you really need to run it in XP compatability mode but whenever I'm having a hard time with a program I always try it... worth a shot eh?

In my own experient, I HAD to install SMP client under "PROGRAM FILES" folder to make it works.
I once installed it in C:\ but created its own folder, it won't work... could NOT download core.....

You might wanna try that (if have NOT done so)... :D

I'm unemployed for the day (I start my first real job tomorrow), and I'm watching Golf and haven't moved from the Computer Desk Chair, now did you really think you were gonna beat me to this?

How do you find out if others are EUEing? Folding.Extremeoverclocking?

BTW, Little_Tea_Pot passed me like I was a sitting duck. I seriously need to run SMP...if only my computer could be on SMP clients...How many rigs you got anyways?

My Vista GPU client (3870) threw a fit the other night while I was sleeping, it kept downloading WU's and then erroring out. It did that once before, this time it made me miss out on about eight hours of work ](*,)
My XP client (8800GTS OC) has been running just fine, leaves my old P4 3.4 peged at 100% though (HT disabled).

I uninstalled my GPU and SMP clients today, I reinstalled the SPM client no problem. This time I only disabled UAC first and everything installed and is running fine so far (vista64bit).
My XP machine is still folding away just fine with the 8800GTS, albit the CPU is pegged at 100% trying to run it. Is there a good program to see how much of the GPU I'm using?

Rivatuner has a lot of stats about graphics cards and their usage, it might an option have one (or a plug-in) that tells you that.
