LR Folding War - A Little Fun for Long Time Members

Post by dicecca112 »

OCF originally did this, and its what got me into folding.

Here's the basics

- The team is split into two subteams
- Each team is balanced so they have the same or close to as possible points per day
- Nobody changes names, they fold under there current name
- We nominate Team Captains to oversee each team
- We nominate someone to watch stats, check for EUEs (I'll take this)
- Pointing System may be # of WUs/Points, race to X amount of points or whatever. I'm open to suggestions
- Possible deductions if I discover a noticeable number of EUEs
- We have a prize (something special from my closet) for someone who reaches a goal (Ie most points/# of machines etc)

Alright now if you want in, just say so, if there is sufficient interest, we'll do this, if not, oh well. We need at least 10 per each team.

I would love to be in, but I have completed 5 WUs since I started. I won't do much good, plus it takes forever to upload my WUs.

I will watch from the bench.

I think the prize should be some high quality all cotton t-shirt with the Legit Review logo and folding@home logo tastefully done. In fact if someone could do that I sure would like a couple. I would pay up to 25 dollars each. Maybe have a 5 dollar a shirt donation to folding@home with every t-shirt sold.

I'm in, might get my main rig back up soon (been having some issues with it).

I like vbironchef's idea, like a shirt or small keychain as the prize :P heck I'd buy one as well
