If your running SMP and you have advmethods set on Linux, and you don't have remote access, don't. Stupid me has had it running, and there is a nasty SMP bug for A2 Cores, were it just freezes and does nothing, unless you manually start and restart, so moral of the story, if you want uninterrupted folding on SMP, run without advmethods on linux
