Help

Post by DX »

I just checked on my folding and found that my system hasn't been upping data but it seems to be still processing something as it is running FahCore_82 at 50%.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't seem to help. I checked my config and it doesn't seem to have changed. Any ideas?

BAH don't know what happened but I deleted everything and reinstalled it. It seems to be working now. I installed the console client and it is FahCore_78 now do I get it run both cores? Install it twice?

I installed to two different directories and have both cores running again.

It probably couldn't access the work servers to return information (they do get busy now and again).

What did your logfile say?

It's best to leave it alone to sort itself out rather than mess with it and lose completed work (like you might have done now).

Bah the log said the last time it talked to the server was in August and that the data deadline was the 15th of this month. So I'm betting the data had been reissued anyways. At least now I have both cores running and should get some point going in under my name again.

I was wondering though do you get more points per packet working small ones or big ones? I have it set currently to chew on the big ones.

What CPU are you using?

If your machine is on lots you will get better points from the SMP client.

I have it on 24/7 pretty much as its my office computer =)

The home system has the 9600GSO in it, however I still have to get the folding client installed on that one. It does though play WoW in the evenings.
