SLI folding
Well after most of last night and a few minutes ago, I think I finally got both my 285s to fold..took alot of reading from here and other sites. but looks like both gpu's are folding. gotta be since before realizing I could check both boxes on using multiple screens, gpu-z only showed one gpu being used. I'm only using one monitor with an hdmi hooked up on the top card and vga on the bottom card. that and I kept gettin an error sayin my driver didn't support it while it was folding on the other gpu..now I don't get any errors
..what I find cool is, I didn't figure it out until reading past threads here so that makes me happy I found my answer here and not some other forum
(guess I'm a fanboy)..almost makes me ambitious enough to mod my case to fit another 285..

Re: SLI folding
Yea I can write one up if you want. I know skierkid and IceMan linked an article once or twice(most recently in the gpu2 installation thread) and I did look at it alot while configuring everything, but if you want a sticky on the forums on how to do it, I'll be happy to write up on how I got it going.

Re: SLI folding
LOL ...well if it's any consolation, I don't have it running right now. Besides typin up what I did, it does put out alot of heat right now lol. even with another fan in my room it's still warm..it's around 83 outside and my room is probably around 78-80 from it so it doesn't help lol..Tryin not to put the a/c on just yet but I have a feeling within a week or two that will change. Plus I only had it folding for 2 hours when I did have it going. so fold on for todaygeokilla wrote:Oh crap....Why'd you have to get your SLI folding up and running? Re: SLI folding
I'd say I got it working. I'm already up to 7,000 points today..So uh, not to rub it in Geo, but you have a bit more than 6 hours to catch me
