I got my XFX black edition GTX 260 coming in the mail on Thursday and I was going to get a jump on it with my 4870... Nope core error. I've got the software downloaded and was curious if the FAHMON was any good or how to use it.

well, I would be folding IF I could figure out why 2 different video cards have the same error.
They both say core error.

Also make sure you have a recent set of drivers for your card!
If that doesnt help....
Try uninstalling and reinstalling F@H client!

Reinstalled and uninstalled about 15 times, updated drivers, rolled back drivers, tested 2 video cards, got the new client got the old client. Giving up.

hercules71185, if you have two different cards, and you want to fold with both, then you need to cofigure your monitor to have a remote monitor or something like that. That might be your issue trying to get two cards to work at the same time. I hope you are able to fold the way you want to. I would not try the SMP client until you get your graphic cards folding first. Don't give up.

I finally got it it was like 12 errors at once. It's working and I'm averaging like 7500ppd on my video card, and would like to know how to get the SMP going and having some fun with my processor. I wasn't trying 2 cards I was just saying neither of them worked.
