FREE: MSI K8T NEO2-FIR To One Folder

Post by Apoptosis »

I have an MSI K8T NEO2-FIR Socket 939 VIA K8T800 Pro ATX AMD Motherboard that is no longer being used on the test bench since it is now an "old" chipset. This was used on the test bench, but was actually bought by myself and has the serial number and everything still on it. Meaning that it has a warranty and all that jazz. I long ago tossed the box, but who needs the box right!

Since our folding team is a dedicated bunch of folks I thought I'd like to say thanks for being on the team and offering up this board to someone who would like to give it a happy home and maybe even put it to folding use.

Here is a picture of the board:

So, Folding Team members... How should I give this away? Random drawing to the folders who want it or something else?

Am I eligible ;)?

By any means...I'm not sure. Going to the person who dedicates the most points is often a little unfair...A random drawing should satisfy everyone though, but the person should have to turn in at least a few WU's over the course of a week or two to be eligible for the drawing.

In other news, I'm back home with my system folding whenever I'm on it!

Great idea

Mayby a draw open to "active" Folders, team 38296 obviously duhh

was thinking, mayby to the person who folds most in a set time period, but no one can come close to infinitevalence (he has 6 active cpu's in last 7days, and 17 in last 50days)

and few can even come close to you deadly-app ;)

I would like it since I'm building a new computer to fold faster than I do now. Then I'd have 4 dedicated folders, 2 of which are AMD 64! Socket 939 would mean I could upgrade to a 3800 or something like that!

I think a drawing of ACTIVE folders would be fine since I noticed that there are several users who used to fold but no longer do it for us anymore. Infinite doesn't count because he's a folding god

if you go the drawing route put my name in the hat. I'm down to two folding machines, the third one was a co-workers machine he said it was messing up his machine (more like user error)

might take a bit to get it up and running but it could be done.

As i'm all the way over in Ireland.

shipping would cost too much, the rest of you folks over the otherside of the water could benifit more

If you are on the folding team and interested in this AMD Socket 939 based board please let me know. I'll draw the winner on the 31st, so if you want to join the team you still have some time. To join the Legit Folding team simply download F@H and enter team number 38296 when setting up the program and you are all set. If you want to get a friend to enter their system sign them up and let me know they are your friend and I'll give you additional entries.

Small and private contest here! We had the following entries...

InFuZiOn
Nobahar
bubba

I am happy to announce that InFuZiOn has won the MSI K8T800 Pro motherboard!

I do ask that you post pictures with it when you get it and that you put it to some good folding/gaming use! Please PM or e-mail me your shipping address and I will get the board out to you tomorrow with everything else.

When I retire hardware from the test bench I will give it out to you guys/gals on the folding team. It's all used, but gently ;)
