I am trying to fold on the new 5770 card. When i install the client it tell me the card is not supported or to try and update the drivers. I have the most recent ati drivers. Does anyone know if the 5700's are currently not supported? I previously was folding on the same machine on a 8800 gts with no problems.

There is no client for the 5000 series yet, so you have to start FAH with the parameter "-forcegpu ati_r700"

It's actually quite easy, just install the FAH GPU client, then create a shortcut of the executable, go to properties and add the parameter in the Target line.
Should look like this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@home\Folding@home-gpu\[email protected]" -gpu 0 -forcegpu ati_r700
:)

That is because you need to create your own new shortcut. The one created during install will be blocked.

Right click on your desktop ->New->Shortcut\
\C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@home\Folding@home-gpu\[email protected]" -gpu 0 -forcegpu ati_r700

if you would have said that it woulda been an easy fix ;) nvidia OR ati, with vista or newer you can't install in "program files" you have to make a folder just inside the C directory
