Ahh but what card is it?

I assume a gtx285 or similar. both my cards complete a WU in just less than an hour like his so that's my assumption lol
just a 275 GTX

I'm doing what I can. If I didn't use my sons PC my number would be a lot lower. Both PC's are all most running 24/7.

I have the PS3 and 3 computers running 24x7 and I can't seem to output squat compared to most.
Seems like Folding @home is skewed towards 500 dollar graphics cards instead of CPU ;-)

That's true. I'm going to keep up what I can do and see what comes out of it and know that the research can keep going.

extra points for consistancy?...estimated at 4000 and I hit that number fairly close everyday...can't beat FLAT OUT...as Scouty would say.." I'm given her all she's got cap'n, if I push her any harder she'll blow". "Damn it Jim I'm a doctor not a computer tech". How much help would SMP client add compared to regular CPU client...I have a dual core 3.0?

"[09:07:02] + Number of Units Completed: 2675"

yes and no. yes graphics cards are more efficient but no - don't have to be $500

my 1st. rig:
Q8200 @ 3Ghz - was $220CDN : 1500PPD
GTX275 @ 700core/1566 shaders - was $230CDN : 9000PPD

2nd rig:
D830 @ 3Ghz : 800PPD
GS8800 @ 680core/1730shaders - was $50after MIR: 4100PPD - probably the best cost/PPD card ever :supz: (same as 9600GSO 384MB)

Petteyg359 and Jakegub, can I have confirmation everything is ok at your end regarding folding and if you're still in the running for the competition please.

Your team is currently taking a hammering, and so in the interest of fairness for everyone else; if you haven't got back to me or started producing again once the weekend is up I'm going to swap you out for someone on the standby list. :axe:

This isn't meant as a threat (though it sounds like one :finga: ), I just want to make sure everyone else in your team has a fighting chance. I'll be more than understanding if you let me know what's up.

Dan
