I'm sure most of our long time folders remember Team FTL, with their member-base recruited by shady tactics involving sticking the F@H files in a torrent and labelling them as a "cpu core optimiser" (or words to that effect).

Well it looks like Stanford (finally!) took action against them as I just noticed EOC is now showing their points as 0:

Shady behavior indeed, though it does show how many people were downloading said torrent and were curious enough to double click that executable.

Oh yea! I remember. It's about time.

I remember us all going "oh my god look at this team! i wonder who they are" etc etc etc then we found out it wasn't legit.

You know, it always boggles my mind on how many people just click **** without knowing ANYTHING about what it is or does or even follow up with it after clicking to see what it did! If people ever woke up, I guess tech support would be gone forever, lol

Glad they're finally gone. Freaking took long enough. I can't remember who from LR posted something on the F@H forums, but didn't they take that thread down a few days after?

i know i posted and i thought iceman or stolli did too, but better late than never, glad to see it resolved....

I want to say they took down Stolli's thread a day or two later. Anyway, what's done is done. Glad they got what they deserved.
