The folding contest is in full swing and it has been an exciting race to watch. With spitter turning in an eighty thousand point day, the outcome is little in doubt right now. Team F is poised to jog backwards over the finish line on the 21st. However, I'd like to issue a challenge to all our folders not participating in the contest to fold under one of the participants usernames. You can help make things more interesting and have a hand in deciding who wins. Perhaps you would like to see team G bring home the gold. Maybe it's time to pay darkstar back for all the millions of points he's given LR and fold under his name, Darkstar_dd , helping Team A take it home. Don't watch from the sideline anymore. Personally, I would like you to fold under dragoncooler's handle or mine, but what the heck. Choose your own side.

how bout the last week we all just combine to one person and keep team F from winning.. i'll even donate team B to be the team that takes em out.. lol

Don't listen to anything Team F members have to say on this matter. Any advice they give is going to be skewed so they can win.

Actually...what I chuckle about is IF we win...there is a guy on our team who has contibuted 131 points and he will get a cpu. Don't get me wrong...we don't all have $1500 worth of video cards to fold on and he is trying...I just think it is funny, talk about being on the "right" team

The contributions to Legit Reviews and folding @ home at large Team F is giving are very much appreciated . I only wish I had half the folding power you guys are throwing at this contest. My comment was made with tongue firmly in cheek and consider it all in fun.

What we are missing this year is a smack talking thread

Keeps the fun banter in a place where people know how it's intended and no-one gets offended

I like the idea of stopping Team F at the last minute, but props to the team, (and at least spitter will have earnt his CPU )

I think Billabong stopped folding, unless his Atom is still trying to chug out WU.

I never thought it would be this fun and interesting! You have to expect smack talk, its the internet. So long as people dont personally attack and take things personal. But werewolfdaddy brings up an excellent point. This could almost be turned into something like american idol (which i hate) but dont watch from the sidelines. If there is a team you want to help out or someone you want to help out, its like putting your vote in. Good point werewolfdaddy!

not like any of our ppd's have multiplied 10 fold, can't really come close to keeping up with that even if we are all folding max capacity(which i cannot until maybe i RMA my dead GSO)
