My landlord decided it was a good time to evict me for his own reasons other than me being late(which I wasn't).I call him Scrooge...so I'm in the middle of moving. Not sure when Ill get up and folding again. But eventually ill be up again

isnt that unlawful eviction? you have to breech contract to get evicted

Well my living situation is kinda sketchy. My dad moved out a month ago and I don't think it would be wise to rack up a bill with him looking for a job right now, so I'm back to 0-4k ppd for a while

I'm going to start working on a Sun 12K server we have in our lab to see if I can get it running F@H. (It's a side project, I'm not expecting much out of it). I'll let you guys know if I have any success.

I'm working on getting some stuff up but time and especially money are tight at the moment. End of January things should get very interesting.

I am still going. Not as strong since I got Dragon age for Christmas but still going. Tom's HArware is toast in 4 days WOOT. I guess I should not complain about Vectrexer since he did give us 1 million to help catch Tom's.

My electric bill went up $65 last month from having 4 pc's on, 3 folding full time and one for gaming. So I'm just leaving one folding like I was before the war.

The trick now is to keep the bill going so the wife doesn't notice the change in the future. (wink)

I've switched off my GPU folding so PPD will drop massively. 2D lag in Windows was just too unbearable.
I'll only be folding with the CPU client from now on.

What's your system specs? If you're using Windows XP, switch to Windows Vista or 7 if you can and turn Aero on. It'll help with the 2D lag that you get with GPU Folding.
You can also slow your GPU folding down, thus reducing the 2D lag.

I'm running a 9600GSO 384MB on an E2160. I heard that the 2D lag is much less on Windows Vista and 7. The thing that annoys me is that the 2D lag only happens with some of the smaller ~300 points WUs. The larger 472 and ~1700 points one are fine. I might switch later on, but I'm still loving my Windows XP.
What's that you said about slowing the GPU folding? I didn't know you could do that. A quick explanation or link would be cool!
