that I must give up my #2 seat. I will always have the fact that I was the 2nd on the team to reach 8 million points, but in 4 days, my reign at #2 will end. I hope to get my systems lined out again soon enough, but it won't be enough to compete with the i7 power.
Congrats KnightRid!

Don't concede yet! Remember, my core i7 has the ALC Domino on it LOL - it may break at any time.
I have Darkstar's number too - in only about 9 years at this rate anyway
Mike
bigadv is the way to go - amazing amounts of points. I have not added anything to my system, actually have the living room dual core and the PS3 off most of the time now!

it is painful, but at this point, there is nothing I can do. I'd like to upgrade to i7, but I told the family we are going on a whirlwind vacation to the Grand Canyon, via 6 of the oldest geocaches in the US, so I have to sock away every penny I can for that.
Once I find time, I'll get 2 of my systems back together and throw another 8k or so a day out, but that should only shore up my seat at #3.

DaIceMan, I know it is hard to be passed up. All these years folding. Your time will come again because your heart is in the right place. Family first. Everything else second. Have a great vacation. It will be worth it. If you could make your way up to the redwoods in CA. Your whole family would really, really like it. Much better than the Grand Canyon. Trust me on this one.
