back into folding
My computer hasn't completed a unit in a while. However, I traced the problem to bad memory and am waiting for new memory to arrive. With any luck, I'll be a productive folder again.

Re: back into folding
Bad memory on the video card or was it the system memory?
Re: back into folding
I need to get my sister's computer back into folding too. Got 5 EUE in a row. Checked the temperatures and they maxed out at 70C
I vacuumed it now and it's topping out at 55C again. Going to put my Vendetta 2 into that rig soon once my new Noctua arrives.
Slightly off topic, but the Noctua is better than the Vendetta 2 right?

Re: back into folding
system Memory. The only good thing to come of this is I'm upgrading from 3gigs of ram to 6. It's been crashing randomly for a while now. I'll be so glad to get some stability back into my main rig. If not for my laptop, I wouldn't be able to do anything online.Apoptosis wrote:Bad memory on the video card or was it the system memory?

Re: back into folding
I'll admit Noctua fans and coolers have really great build quality... After seeing their fans first hand from this past months contest I must say I haven't seen any nicer. I just wish they made them in different colors as my case is all black. Not many people pay attention to fans as when I used to speak at LAN parties no one new that some fans were sleeve fans and others were ball bearing fans. You pay for what you get!
