so, i have it working! well, mostly, my GTS 250 is chomping right through a unit and the 5770 can't connect (the 250 couldnt connect for a while either but i didnt change anything to get it to connect) BUT i do have it working as a DX11 card with solid physX performance (can play Mafia II with PhysX and all settings on High @ over 30fps)

250 folding @ ~74min/unit right now!

so you installed your 5770(or other radeon card), latest driver kit (10.7 currently from AMD) then installed your GeForce physx/folding card and the latest forceware and hybrid physx patch (1.04ff for forceware 256 series)

install GPU2

start with the ATI client:
-install, copy the program files folder and make one folder that says "Folding@home-gpuATI" and another copy "Folding@home-gpuNVIDIA"
-send a shortcut to desktop from each respective folder
-on the shortcut from the ATI folder set
target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@home\Folding@home-gpuATI\[email protected]" -local -gpu 0 -forcegpu ati_r700
start in: C:\Users\*your logon name*\AppData\Roaming\Folding@home-gpuATI
-in the roaming folder (show hidden files first) the original installation sets a Folding@home-gpu folder, rename it to Folding@home-gpuATI, then copy and rename the copy Folding@home-gpuNVIDIA

back to the NVIDIA shortcut on the desktop:
Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@home\Folding@home-gpuNVIDIA\[email protected]" -local -forcegpu nvidia_g80 -gpu 0
start in: C:\Users\*your logon name*\AppData\Roaming\Folding@home-gpuNVIDIA
-extend a monitor to the 250 (im not 100% sure this is still necessary, but i'm extended w/dummy plug)
-start both programs

it may look strange setting both to GPU0, but its the only way to avoid UNSTABLE_MACHINE

(of course setting team 38296 and username and the usual gpu client settings)

currently getting unstable machine on the 5770, but hey, the 250 is what i really want folding, and HFM says its putting up 6770ppd :) just the 250 and the 1055T 3.9GHz @ 80%util project 13k ppd! can't wait to be able to run it all the time
