it seems my PPD has gone up since I'm running the console as a service and the graphical interface in addition

added another 2400+ to the mix today...now I will have 4 cpus, and I MIGHT make 10,000 in a month..dunno...will be close it seems.

the last computer only has 256mb of ram, but it seems to be doing OK, as long as it doesnt overheat and fry itself ;)

thats alot. I got my p4 3.6 going, my work p4 2.4, and a p3 650mhz (only at night). im pushing 1500 points a week. the thing i dont understand is how on one day, it says i have no points at all except i know my comps were running...and i go from 283 points in a day down to 40 something the next day ?!? makes no sense to me.

easy: some WU's are bigger and take even 2 days to finish. sometimes all your rigs are doing a big WU at the same time and on no points day are still working - then finnish allmost at the same time the next day

If I had more ddr memory laying around I might be able to get this 2000+ going also

Its older stuff, but it still works...one of these days I will be able to upgrade to 64 bit or dual core...maybe by the time quad-core comes out ;)

Its for a good cause...as long as the electric bill doesnt go through the roof, the wife wont care how many comps I have running....might put thes extra 2 in my computer room into the basement to get rid of some noise though...I can run them through realvnc.

no-one will notice much of an increase in their elec. bills...unless your Infinite...LOL

KnightRid -> Memory isn't important with folding..I'm currently crunching a 600pts WU...The biggest I've seen is a 780pt WU...task manager says FAH core is using 102Mb.....90% of the work units they have are alot smaller.....

well I got 6,356 points so far.. without anything shy of an act of god I don't think I will make it to 10k. if I could have kept my home machine in the mix I think I would have made it, but until I can get the new cooler. now if I could talk couple of more people into running it on their machines..... hmmm... maybe for newxt month

I wish I had more than one rig. with my single machine it's impossible to get 10K no matter what I do. but you can do it so go for it.
