I have both PC's going now so that should help. If I could get 2 instances to run on each we'd really be kicking ass :finga:
nice goin' joe. do you have hyper threading or double core? if yes you can do it. have another instance in a different folder and assign a different number to it. I have one running as a service and a second one as a graphical interface and now my CPU runs 100%. my ppd went up at least by 1/3 :P

I have 2 dual core PC's running - @ 2655 and one @ 2835. I tried to get 2 instances to work and never could (It's in this thread somewhere) and I got tired of mucking with it.

too bad - with dual cores you could actually double your PPD :P
what are you running right now? console or the graphical client? I run both and even with HT I got about 1/3 boost - with double cores double performance is easy.

if you give us details we can help you set up the 2 instnces. (I had the same problem at the beginning so now I have experience in solving it :P )

BTW, gongrats to novicegamer and gnome - they both passed the 200,000point mark. WOOOOHOOOO :finga:

Good job Vstrom!!! isnt it fun

I didnt think I would get close to 15,000 points, but...I just might be able to..gonna be close I think. I started the 16th of Dec, so I figured the 16th of jan is it for me...I need a program that keeps track of my average work units/points per day/week/month/year ( long haul!!! )

Mike

well, my rig is running a 2 instances of folding (1 service and 1 graphical console) and today I put 1-1 instance's running as a service on 2 of my friends computer's with his permission. his rigs are not on allways but it still should make a difference. also I will have 1 more rig soon (my ex-wife's 3.2 prescott). also as soon as I get back home from my trip, I will be putting together my second rig (with the pentium M 760 - courtesy of LR), so there will be yet another rig crunching WU's soon - WOOOHOOO :finga:

yo joe, watching your progress - nice job :finga:

yo, knightrid - with this pace you should be in the first 10 soon :finga:

Not right now any way, people who can do our jobs are not easy to find, we require quite a bit more than just A+ and compUSA experience.
