What is the right way to fold a shirt?
Kidding. If I am in the middle of folding and I geta BSOD, do I start over and get 0 credit for my work? I ask becasue my PC was working all night on a rather large one and it's BS'd on me near the end of it.
Second question, it appears that is it working both cores of my Opty 175 so is there any need to run dual instances (is it even possible)?

If it BSOD's then it submits what you have done and starts a new one. Its best if your system is stable before folding because if the data is no good, it kinda defets the purpose. Yes you have to have 2 instaces to fully use your dual core, this is done by making 2 folders and runing the setup twice, under machine number you put 1 for cpu1 and 2 for cpu2

The system is stable...user error

Peaking of user error...maybe I'm dense today but I tried installing another instance in a separate folder but I didn't see in the set up where I could specify a machine #?

Well, no matter what I do I can't run 2 instances (always tells me there is another running.
I did the following:
>Installed into directory 1
>Installed into directory 2
>Ran #1 with "-local -config" and set configuration (there is no option for mach #). Made sure config file said machine 1
>Ran #2 with "-local -config" and set configuration (again no option for mach #). Edited config file to machine 2
Get error. Rinse and repeat.

Are you using the console version?
I use the console version, when i run it in dos it asks for machine # & if i want to run it as a service!
I choose yes, and also run the standard version, that way i can r-click the taskbar and close 1 instance, but still have 1 always running in the backround.
