The Race To 2 Million Points

We currently have 1,959,721 points and are going to break the 2 million mark this month but we need more help!

We have lost THREE spots this week already!

If you have folded for Legit Reviews and stopped for whatever reason now would be a great time to turn those machines back on to help up break 2 million points and get our overall rank back up there!

Well, I think my ABIT board crapped out on me so it's out of commission right now. That hurts!

The AV8 - it was purring right along and it suddenly locked up. I rebooted and it won't pass the DM POOL screen. I reset CMOS, swapped mem sticks, everything except flashing BIOS (which I'll try tonight). I even tried to boot to CD. Nothing, just sits at the DMI screen. I wanted to replace it anyway so I'll prolly buy the DFI SLI board for my main rig and pop the Ultra-D in to replace the ABIT. This means I'll be selling a bunch of stuff soon because I'll be going PCIE and I'm gonna get that new PSU etc. BTW - on that subject, check your PM's Apop.

Are you using the graphical client or the console one?

Well, kinda. I was goign to get a new drive and re-install the OS anyway because I had some driver issues going on with Winodws MCE. So, I had backed up some files but for the most part I didn't have anything irreplaceable on that drive. But, I had VB.NET and some other programming stuff for school on there so I have to install those on my main rig until I get the other one going but I didn't want to have to muck up this PC with all that. Luckily, all of my projects were saved on my thumbdrive :)

So, I'm taking this opportunity to get a new DFI LP Ultra-D board, a new hard drive and I'm going to try out the Zalman 9500 cooler so I can take the IHS off the 170 I have in there 'cos it runs damn hot.

Use the beta console version....run it from dos and when asked to run it as a service choose yes.....this way you never have to worry about it....it will always be running in the backround. ;)

I just added my P 4 3.4 EE to the fray. I 've got an old P 3-1 GHZ with 1 gig of memory I can put togeather and run full time or a P4-2.53 with 1 gig of memory. Which one would work better as your more familar with this type of app. the chosen machine would be 24/7 folding and nothing more. the P 4.3.4 EE would come out of the fray as I have other needs of it. Or would you prefer I just build an AMD X4800 Machine from the ground up just for folding?

The P 4-2.53 will be the one for now. Looking into another build/option for a little faster folding machine. So many options, so much neet stuff, so little time to build it...................................................... Thanks

I ran my work laptop for 2 days...my parts for my backup rig should be here tomorrow and it'll take me a few days to get it clicking again but then I'll be putting out the #'s again.

I just completed my second WU and windows closed the program due to an error. The next WU loaded and the time frame for completion was June 6-06.

I"ve got some other work to do on this rig so I quit folding for the time being.

I just ordered a Power Supply from PC Power and Cooling for an old case I have here. I'm putting my old[Mothballed] P4-2.53b [845]-MB with 1 Gig of memory and 2 HDD into it. Once I get Win XP Pro loaded up and it's good to go, that machine will be 100% dedicated to folding 24/7, nothing else.

Thanks!
