Help out a folder at a dumb school

Yeah so my school likes to periodically block all Stanford and F@H related sites because it thinks it is a virus/ad-ware site due to the fact of the way the F@H client works. So it blocks all the ports, and addresses. Hence I can't submit or send any work. Could someone do me a huge favor and sneakernet me some workunits to [email protected].


I believe for this to work you need to change your username to mine dicecca112 download the work unit and then stop the service. Zip the Work folder and then email it to me. Then change your username back to yours in the user.cfg file and go back on your merry way.

I can send you my whole F@H1 and F@H2 folders and you just doubleclick on the Folding consoles, wait till they get WUs and then send the who shebang back to me.

Either way it will be greatly appreciated until I either get a response from IT or can go in myself and raise bloodly hell (for the 11time in my 4 yr college career) and tell the IT guy to pull his head out his ass. He has a personal vendetta against me.

1. Open the RAR
2. Open FAH1
3 Double click FAH502-Console.exe
4 It needs to send the WU unit so wait till it looks like #7 below in the console window
5. Open FAH2
6. Double click FAH502-Console.exe
7. Wait to the Console windows shows something similar to this

8. zip or rar just the two work folders making sure to keep them seperate or rename them. I suggest you put one in FAH1 folder and another in FAH2 folder. Then zip those two folders up and email to [email protected]

9. Have the satisfaction that you have a moderator here that is eternally grateful and that I will give the IT director bloody hell and raise a huge stink about this again.

Ah I see what you're trying to do. I'll dl the file asap (once FileFactory has some open free servers to download from) and see to it to do what you asked.
