LR is on pace for a 250K Month, our highest since I joined in March of this year, just did a 66K week, our highest again that I can remember, our highest daily production in September was 8.8K or so, we have beaten that every day this month, were are up over 13 active users, PPD average is up almost 50ppd.

What am I trying to say? Keep folding guys. I understand that a lot of this production is going to be lost at the end of the contest, but I implore everyone to keep up as much as they can.

@cadevaca

dude stay around and keep folding for us. The production you are getting on just a conroe and a GPU is incredible. Your equaling my Conroe and Yonah production.

I think what I might start doing is a weekly or monthly F@H spotlight, an interview of sorts trying to get to know our members a little better. I want to keep the enthusiasm in F@H here to stay, and keep everyone folding

Yeah, there's no way im gonna be able to match cadevaca's performance/cpu average so have given up and am just going to fold 2 cores for the rest of the competition :P (It's already halfed my average now )

Go team go! Fold Fold Fold!

we need to get a 9X0 series for you, or a Conroe + Board. Then you'd be able to compete.

Well essential my score is on a conroe and a yonah. So technically you could get to my production very easily, I mean yes its not gonna catch cadevaca, dude has the folding gods smiling on him. I did a little projection, and taking his smallest daily total and projecting it to the result of the contest, he's gonna hit 5-7K per CPU. That's not right.

Yeah, I say we should outlaw the GPU client for this competition :P

P5B-E and a E6400. You'll get my production. Under 400$ easy. About 380ish. Add some incredible Team Group 2X512MB Micron D9 ram from Tankguys, and that brings us to 500$. Your set for a while there.

I'm not going any where. Here in a couple weeks I should be going up production again, getting a couple more new machines here at work, once I get them inplace I will get them folding.

I'm close to finishing my first Work Unit and although I know that at this point that there's no way to compete with you guys I'm going to keep my lowly rig Folding as often as I can.

How about a consolation prize...new monster computer for the guy that tried, but just couldn't hang with the big boys... :)

a 945 is 162 at newegg, E6300 is 180 and will give you worlds better performance, spend the extra 18$ its worth it.

The contest has went exactly as I thought it would. There have been no surprises. I was folding with these rigs before the contest, i'll be folding with these rigs after the contest. There's not a person on our folding team that does it for the promise of prizes; it's the hope for the cures this technology can bring.

I see my PPD has been past up so I have no chance at a prize but I will still have all my computers folding long after they have left

um novice, you have a significant 3k point lead in the total race. Check my thread http://forums.legitreviews.com/viewtopic.php?t=6776. Your PPD for the contest is the highest right now by about 100 PPD. Almost every day you drop the most Points. The closest two in total points are myself and cadaveca, and we are both 3k plus points away. Your still in this bub.

your eoc ppd is over 400 PPD higher than me and cadaveca. So your fine and keep folding.

No chance? You're leading the pack for total points! You have a 3,000 point lead!

though it is kinda funny that cav and myself have 2-3 cpus and we are only 3k behind at a 10-11 cpu deficite.

I'm glad i could help you guys out. As i posted earlier, my goal is the top 1000 contributors for stanford's FAH project, so I'm in it for the long haul.

When i first heard of the competition(thanks to the the email!) I thought i would stay out, and let someone else boost your output. But then I realized that few people can contribute as much as I can, with the team being so small!

My pc's fold 24/7. I have a total of 5 machines, all A64's or better. I'll be pulling a couple of those over after the contest.

I'll be honest...I knew noone would be able to beat me. But at the same time, I also thought that noone would end up using the prize for the team as I would.

A couple of weeks ago, the psu in my wife's machine exploded. Well, didn't explode, really, but it DID leave a scorch mark on the wall, and tripped the breaker, killed all the USB devices plugged into the machine, and did the videocard soem damage as well. The rest of the system is fine..altohugh i replaced the mobo due ot the USB casualties. The vidcard artifacts in 3d, but is fine in 2D. Thankfully the only game my wife plays is scrabble, or my little conroe upgrade would have had to wait.

Her machine ran for abt 7 months, 24/7, heavily overclocked. It's still overclocked, and will remain that way unitl it dies. And it's not overclocked because she needs the performance...it's all about it folding 24/7.

So here I am, contest is gonna start soon, I got one semi-dead folding machine that needs a videocard...and the contest prize is a videocard. Couldn't have been a better opportunity.

So, yeah...I wanna win this card...the wife's machine needs it...not only to replace the dying one, but also to increase my production. Production for Legit, of course.

I was bringing in about 1000ppd before i pulled the fastest rig down to build this one, and i'm still left with abt 600ppd with the other machines. I think in the end I might just end up being in the top 3 producers for legit, once this is over.

Oh, and TBH, there's no luck involved with my folding production...I jsut rarely use my pc for anything other than FAH and surfing the web. I'm getting old, i guess, and my hands can't take gaming liek they used to!

only problem with that is, i cant drop the conroe into a P5WD2-P... though i could sell it and prolly pay a lil extra for a conroe board...but in canada...ha!
